Ashley
Chief Executive Officer
Ashley Smalley is the Founder and CEO of Smalley Consulting
Her passion is for people to enjoy their work because they enjoy the people with whom they work, and she accomplishes this with dynamic leadership and people development strategies, including education, training, and coaching.
As a certified human resources professional, trusted consultant, and skilled facilitator, Ashley brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to every engagement. Her eclectic work experience spanning retail, local government, oil and gas, and Christian ministry provides her with valuable insights into the human dynamic of various industries. She uses that perspective to bring practical strategies that can be utilized immediately to transform any organization.
Beyond her consulting work, Ashley has authored “Faith at Work,” a digital devotional designed to equip Christians to live out their faith in the marketplace in a way that isn’t illegal or obnoxious. She also co-hosts “The Faith at Work Podcast,” a platform dedicated to bridging the gap between Sunday morning and Monday morning and exploring what it means to live out faith in Christ in a messy, imperfect world. In 2024, she founded Kingdom in Action, a growing community built around encouragement to live like Christ everywhere we go.
Ashley is married to her high school sweetheart. Together they have three daughters – one who leads with responsibility, one who leads with laughter, and one who was grafted in against all odds.
Ashley’s life purpose is to use her life and platform to point people to the love of Christ and to stir people up to love each other well. One team at a time.

Karleigh
Creative Solutions Specialist
Karleigh Norris is the Creative Solutions Specialist for Smalley Consulting
Her passion is breathing life into lofty ideas, and she accomplishes this by translating complex concepts into powerful visual narratives.
Since joining the team in early 2023, Karleigh has focused on honing the heart and services of the firm through her greatest strengths: business marketing, web design, graphic design, and photography. With a career built on nearly a decade of professional creative experience and a lifelong journey as a dedicated artist, Karleigh brings a uniquely authentic perspective to every project.
At the center of her work is the Brand Synthesis department. Karleigh believes a strong brand requires its own form of unity. She views “synthesis” as the art of merging a client’s diverse ideas, values, and goals to create a singular, unique identity. By helping clients build brands that are cohesive and authentic, she ensures that every creation is a work of art that illuminates real moments and tells a unified story.
Beyond her design work, Karleigh is a creator in every sense of the word. She is a lover of music, writing, and the process of building something from scratch. She is a proud dog mom to a dramatic Beagle named Pepper Louise and cherishes time spent with her family.
Karleigh’s life purpose is to serve God and people well through her art, using her creative talents to advocate for others and tell stories that matter. One creative solution at a time.
